He received his theological formation at the Italian Bible Institute (Rome, Italy), where he graduated in 1988.
He continued his study at the Urbino University (Italy), where he graduate in Sociology (1993), disserting upon a experimental thesis research on "Sharing The Faith Among Teenager Groups" Pastor Mario Catalano started his ministry in Italy among the Churches of Assemblies of God in Italy (A.D.I.), but God had different plans for him and now he is established in Canada with his family, since January 1997.

Personal Challenge:

As a minister of the Gospel (the Good News) I learned to take Jesus Christ as my source and inspiration for my ministry (Galatians 2:20). Sometimes as pastors we have the tendency to preach the Gospel focusing only on the salvation of the soul. This is indeed a part of the Good News, but is not a holistic view of Jesus' call.
Jesus' life, teachings, suffering, death and resurrection covered more than just making us a way to get to heaven. It's not even exclusively about me or you as individuals, but the call of Jesus includes the entirety of creation and eternity. This means that we don't just live life waiting for eternal life to begin, but instead we ought respond now and here to His call, practicing the same kind of gentle yet vital living that Jesus exemplified.
Family: Pastor Mario Catalano and his wife, Laura, have been married since 1991 and have two children, Jonathan and David.
